Lincoln County 4-H, in partnership with several new community partners, is offering a special opportunity for 4-H youths (and their friends) who are interested in expanding their photography skills.
The Yaquina Art Association Photographers are hosting a workshop focusing on composition on Feb. 23, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., also at the extension office. This free class is the first in a series and open to all youths (again do not have to be enrolled in 4-H). This workshop is part of a larger event hosted by the Newport Symphony Orchestra and Yaquina Art Association that will be held in September. Youths will have the opportunity to submit photographs to be featured as part of the orchestra’s concert and displayed on large screens during the performance.
